Bring item donations to the Connection Center October 4th through November 15th. We appreciate your contributions toward a great cause! You can also pick up boxes to fill and drop off at the Connection Center by November 8th or take to an Operation Christmas Child collection box location. We invite you to join us for a shoebox party to stuff the boxes with great gifts for children overseas. We will be meeting to stuff the boxes on Sunday, November 8th at 6:30 PM in the Leander area. Items can include the following: • Toys – dolls, balls, stuffed animals, toy truck/boat, small musical instrument, Frisbee, kite, puzzles, sewing kit, playing cards, jump rope, etc. • School Supplies – backpack, notebook, crayons, pencils, sharpener, colored pencils, ruler, glue stick, scissors, etc. • Personal Care Items – comb, brush, toothbrush, packaged soap, Band-Aids, hair accessories, blanket, lip balm, compact mirror, deodorant, etc. • Home Items – reusable plastic plates, bowls, utensils, water bottles, etc. • Special Note – You can enclose a personal note to the child and include a photo of your family or church group if you choose to. Do not include the following items: Candy; toothpaste; gum; used or damaged items; war-related items such as toy guns, knives, or military figures; chocolate or food; seeds; fruit rolls or other fruit snacks; drink mixes (powdered or liquid); liquids or lotions; medications or vitamins; breakable items such as snow globes or glass containers; aerosol cans.
